The harm of noise to human beings is chronic and has been overlooked for a long time. With the rapid development of the global economy, the penalty of noise to human beings is becoming more and more serious, especially in some developed countries. Noise endangers people's physical and mental health.

The design proposes noise barriers, sound-absorbing material and vegetation to mitigate the undesirable noise of the train station, roads and industrial units whilst providing a landscape that is pleasant to inhabit and offers users a sense of nature. The project considers the impact of harmful sound sources on the environment and people at the site, and explores how to avoid noise by identifying areas shielded by terrain and buildings. Interventions in the landscape to reduce noise in the area include vegetation screens, curtain walls, terrain changes or applications of acoustically appropriate materials. Finally, the introduction of desired sound, such as the sound of nature (water features, singing birds), alleviates the emotional interference of undesirable sounds in the city.
